An ironically important question, important to me.

Without long preludes, straight to the point. In connection with the release of B3, I decided to update my computer. My car is quite old. And the sad thing is that she is too old in everything. I decided to start by updating the video card. But I want to ask knowledgeable people whether it makes sense to buy a GeForce GTX 560 Ti with the configurations given below.

configs
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.2.GHz
4 gigs of RAM (2 of them are very dull and old)
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250

There is also an option to save up and build a completely new computer, so I want to ask if it makes sense to buy a video card now? I will be very grateful to everyone who responded.

But for me it’s the non-uk-casinos.co.uk/ other way around: I use processors from Intel, but I like cards from AMD. The reason is simple: I’m confused about all these GTX and all sorts of markings on nVidia cards and markings on processors from MAD AMD

If the bulldozer costs at the stated price, then take it with RAM – ok, the video for the battle won’t be as good as it should yet, and maybe the power supply won’t be able to handle all this stuff, yeah

Vidyukha will not be able to cope with the percentage, not all the potential will be revealed. In general, do as I do, first update the mother, percent, RAM, and then I see the bp

Hmm, you have a processor for the am2 socket, I’d like to find out which motherboard, maybe it also supports am3, I don’t even know the DDR2 or DDR3 you have, although probably with such a DDR2 processor, in short, it’s easier to buy a new system unit, and the AMD processors work better with ATI video cards, because that’s what they make)

You can’t approach the choice of hardware like that. To save up, it’s 2-3 thousand, but a new computer seems to be a completely different amount 🙂
If you take a card, then only as a component of a future computer. Although there will already be new, more suitable variants. And your percentage will not be able to load the video card. It will load 2/3, but that’s no use)

I’ll tell you this. I have two nuclear processors with 2.9 + 4 gigs of RAM and 9600GT + 500 watt power supply.

I think it’s worth taking! I bought it myself today and installed it a couple of hours ago.
Those who write that they won’t be able to handle the processor mean that everything will be fine, only because of the weakness of the processor there will be restrictions. That is, I bought a video card (make sure the power supply is ok), and then save up for the mother and so on.
